October New Music: focus Virtaperko

Olli Virtaperko will be the focus composer of the October New Music festival 2017 (Uuden Musiikin Lokakuu) in Oulu, Northern Ostrabothnia, Finland. The 13th edition of October New Music, one of the northernmost contemporary music festivals in the world, presents Virtaperko’s orchestral and chamber music in three concerts, including the performance of the acclaimed baritone saxophone concerto Multikolor by Joonatan Rautiola and TampereRaw Ensemble.
